NationalMinister Balaam Warns Public Servants Against Contesting in LC Elections Before Resigning
The Minister of Local Government, Hon. Barugahara Balaam Ateenyi has warned that public servants are not eligible to contest in Local Council elections unless they resign from public service at least 30 days before nomination, saying the law requires public officers to remain politically neutral.
